6 Days Marangu Route Kilimanjaro Climb

Code: MARANGU-6D
6 DAYS 5 NIGHTS

Tour Overview

Known as the "Coca-Cola Route" for its relative comfort and popularity, the Marangu Route is the only Kilimanjaro trail that uses mountain huts with dormitory-style sleeping arrangements instead of tents. This 6-day version includes an essential extra acclimatization day at Horombo Hut, significantly improving summit success rates while maintaining the classic southeast approach.

The route winds through varied landscapes — from dense rainforest filled with monkeys and birds, across open moorland with giant lobelias, to the stark lunar-like alpine desert — culminating in the exhilarating summit push to Uhuru Peak, the roof of Africa.
